Bath Christmas Market

Bath Christmas Market

26 November – 13 December 2026

The market in the historic centre. The organiser and Bath & North East Somerset Council both publish 26 November to 13 December 2026.

The council newsroom announced the same dates: 26 November to 13 December 2026.

The season

Monday to Wednesday 10:00–19:00, Thursday to Saturday 10:00–20:00, Sunday 10:00–18:00, inclusive of 26 November to 13 December.

What to notice

  • It is a short market: just over two weeks. Miss the window and it is gone, unlike Edinburgh’s long run.
  • The council and the organiser agree, which is as solid as a date gets.

What to eat and drink

Unless a sentence names its source, these are specialities associated with the city, not a confirmed menu for 2026. Stall lists change every season.

  • The dates page does not list dishes. Bath’s own buns and the usual mulled wine are the local context.

Planning notes

  • Book the hotel before you book the train. Two weeks of market in a small city fills the rooms.
  • Sundays end at 18:00. Do not arrive at dusk on a Sunday and expect a full evening.

Getting there

Bath Spa station is about 15 minutes on foot from the Abbey. Trains from London Paddington take about an hour and a half.

When to go

A Tuesday or Wednesday in the first week of December, late morning.
